*I begin my travels on June 1st.
*I return home on August 3rd.
*I will be living in Arica, Chile, which is the Red A balloon on the maps you see. It is a border town, so it is extremely close to Peru. Actually, it used to be a part of Peru.
~I will be living with my Chilean "mom," Ligia, and another UNI student named Rachel. I'm SO excited to get to know both of them :) I will be taking three classes there,
so I will get 9 credits while in Arica! There is also a travel week (I think it's the first week in July); we're able to travel either in Peru, Bolivia, or southern Chile. I think I will most likely travel to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu in Peru. If you don't know what Machu Picchu is, you should definitely Google it :)
~I think that is almost all of the information about my trip. ReplyDeleteHere we are in the motel. You leave for Chile tomorrow. I can't believe it's already here! We will miss you sooo much but yet we are so excited for your new adventure!
